Abstract

Our native peoples are rich in traditions and culture. The use of dance as a means of expression, beliefs, thoughts, and worldview is just one of the art forms we find in, Iguandili and Diguar. This essay aims to motivate talented indigenous young people of any specialty, believe in them, and fight to achieve their dreams and goals through the life experience of these two renowned dancers of the guna dance. To highlight the talents in art and dance of indigenous peoples is to defend their cultural identity. Although they professionalize themselves, they struggle to preserve their culture in a westernized society. It is essential to recognize and appreciate our indigenous artists' work through their art.
