This research aims to analyze the perception of the problem of sewage in the community of La Villa de Los Santos, province of Los Santos; surveys were applied to a representative sample of 100 people. The data was processed with the Microsoft Excel program. The design of the research is non-experimental, cross-sectional and descriptive. 81% of the population has observed a spill of water, with a frequency of 1 to 3 times a month, in addition, 51% indicate that it emanates very unpleasant odors and 100% show that they can cause diseases. 91% of the respondents specify that they only pull the health rate (extracts, toilet paper and urine) but it is interesting to note that 91% also indicate that there is poor disposal of waste which causes overflow of the health line and that the community is mainly the cause of the problem. These results lead us to design training workshops aimed at communities on the correct use of sanitary lines to avoid possible sources of pollution that can affect our health and the environment.
